Supercross BMX at BSX2014
Supercross BMX are a long time supporter of the BSX event, a one on one trails race for charity, run in Kinglake Australia each January.
Supercross Junior Elite riders Esther Woodward and Peter Little were all set to take on some of Australia’s finest in this unique event.
Peter had a crash a couple of days before resulting in stitches to his elbow putting him out of the event. Disappointed that he couldn’t race, Peter still wanted to get in amongst the action so he took many of the bmxultra.com photos for the day.
Esther was a little under the weather but still enjoyed the day, finishing eighth in the open women’s class time trial but was eliminated in the first round.
Shane Jenkins was a surprise addition to the team making his Supercross team debut in his own backyard at BSX2014. He ran a safe lap in the time trial and managed to hold on to the hot seat for some time. He’d qualified fifth from the thirteen riders but was eliminated in the first round when he came up against Simon Anderson in the eventual winner of the class.
It was a fun day for all and, as always we are very proud to be a part of it.
