The 2014 USABMX Race of Champions/Grand Nationals are just over a week away but when you check the Top 20 standings the season is far from over.

Aussie Sam Willoughby has had another dominant year and leads the AA Men’s pro class but Latvian Maris Strombergs is still within striking distance of Willoughby and is always a threat, as are all of the riders in the AA field however Strombergs appears to be the only rider who could take the #1 from Willoughby.

In the Pro women’s class USA’s Alise Post has also had a great 2014 season, and has a significant points buffer over second placed Shanaze Reade from the UK. While Reade has proven that she’s always a threat, things would have to go horribly wrong for Post to be knocked off the top of the standings.

The Vet Pro standings are the closest of all and could go any way, as usual the Vet Pro riders are set to put on just as big a show as any other class.
