The Speedline/Supercross Australia team were in force at the Australian BMX Championships at Shepparton last week.

Ethan Zrna (11 Boys) The former Australia #2 struggled a little in the wet conditions and finished up 2-1-2 in the heats, it was the 1/4 final where he really struggled and finished 5th

Madie Guyers (16 Girls) This was a break through event for Madie you can see she’s starting to really push herself with a new found confidence. Madie Placed 2-3-3 in the heats and made it as far as the semi where she placed 6th.

Danny Galea (40-44 Men) Danny was a hot favourite for the class he finished 1-1-1 in the heats, placed 2nd in the semi and 1st in the main (40-44 cruiser) Danny was also in with a good chance in the cruiser class he finished 1-1-1 in the heats 1st in the 1/4 final 2nd in the semi and unfortunately crashed in the final finishing 8th

David Elms (45-49 Men) David rode well in a tough class finishing 1-2-2 in the heats 4th in the semi and 7th in the main (45-49 cruiser) David followed that up on cruiser with 2-3-4 in the heats 3rd in the semi and 6th in the final.

Glenn Main (35-39 Men) Glenn placed well in his heats with 4-5-3, but he stayed too wide in the first corner which cost him and left him with 8th (35-39 cruiser) Glenn looked far more comfortable in the cruiser class placing 2-2-2 in the heats but a slow start in the 1/4 final left him in 5th.

Tim Austin (30 & Over challenge men) Tim posted some fast times but was unlucky with the draw and landed the hardest of the heats, he finished 5-5-6.

Craig Austin (35-39 Men) Craig put in some ripper gates in his heats but was unable to finish off the laps, he placed 7-7-6 in the heats.

Stewart Kelly (30-34 cruiser) Stewie mixed it up in a class field but it was a hard day in the office, he finished up with 7-7-7 in the heats.

Paul Tomkinson (35-39 Men) The former Masters finalist progressed easily with a 3-3-5 in the heats unfortunately a 7th in the semis saw him watching the finals from the sideline.
