When Billy Jones enters a Helltrack qualifier, his grandfather Cru Jones recounts the legendary race that made him a BMX icon. In 1986, Cru was just a paperboy with a beat-up bike when the world’s most extreme BMX race came to his small town. Facing corporate-backed champion Bart Taylor and a promoter determined to rig the race, Cru fights his way through a brutal obstacle course and dirty tricks. Against all odds, the hometown underdog rides straight into BMX history. And decades later, the legend still inspires the next generation to ride their own line.
