18 November 2015 Schedule

Pump track – open session

Here’s your chance to hit the first modular pump track in Australia! The Subaru Pump Track will be available for use by all age groups and type of riders (and bikes) for two open sessions:

  • 5pm – 6:30pm
  • 7:45 – 8:45pm
  • 10pm until close

There’s no need to register in advance to use the track – it will just be an open session where riders alternate, guided by the Bike Buller team. We’ll also be on hand to manage usage between kids and adults, so little shreds heads are most definitely welcome!

You can use balance bikes through to full-size adult bikes but sorry – no scooters, skateboards or inline skates. Helmets are mandatory.

‘Store Wars’ retailer competition

From 6:30 – 7:45pm the pump track will feature an awesome competition. “Store Wars” is a competition between Victoria’s favourite bike retailers. This will definitely be great to watch!

Riders will compete in a head to head knockout, with two competitors per heat. The first rider to complete two laps advances through to the next round, and the spectacular finale will feature a four lap race.

Competitors must ride a mountain bike (either a 26”, 27.5”or 29”), and riders will be disqualified if they ride off the track.

The “Store Wars” competition is open to Victorian bike retailers, with the winner crowned either the King or Queen of Pump. Aside from a fearsome title and ongoing bragging rights, there will be a great prize pool up for grabs including a $1,000 cash prize for the winner!

Competition spots are limited to Victorian bike retailers, so pull out the pom-poms and come to cheer on your favourite store!

Open competition

From 8:45 – 10pm – open to any style of bike (BMX, MTB, road, whatever!) any gender or age, come and battle it out and you could be the King or Queen of Pump. Entries will be open online shortly.

Riders will compete in a head to head knockout, with two competitors per heat. The first rider to complete two laps advances through to the next round, and the spectacular finale will feature a four lap race.
