Product Spotlight: Pride Cayman V2 Stem

Pride Racing has a solid range of products including a couple of stem options. The Pride Cayman V2 is a light weight CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminium stem that’s available in four lengths 45mm, 50mm, 54mm and 58mm with two clamp diameters 22.2mm and 31.8mm. Where it differs from other stems is that its designed for a “48mm wide handlebar support surface, it is much more rigid and guarantees a better grip.” It may not be compatible with all handlebars on the market but the benefits will outweigh pairing them up with the right bars. Check them out.

Manufacturer’s Description

The Pride CAYMAN V2 stem is an improvement of the CAYMAN stem from Pride Racing. New design, optimised stiffness. Thanks to its 48mm wide handlebar support surface, it is much more rigid and guarantees a better grip. The design has been changed to lighten the weight by hollowing out some areas. A stem entirely machined in one block with a CNC machine. Its 6061-T6 aluminium is ultra strong and reliable, promising a durable part over time. In addition, its screws are all identical, made of stainless steel to avoid any corrosion. These screws are DIN 912 standard, which means that replacement screws can be found easily.

For this new range of stems, Pride Racing offers again the Oil Slick colour.

NOTE: You can also choose a Titanium bolt, which saves 50g on the overall weight of your stem.
