It’s Mid School madness at Profile Racing’s HQ. A few months back they discovered a box of the Profile HIP stems. And now the Mid School God’s shine in Florida once again.

It seems fitting that the staff at Profile Racing would stumble across a load of mid 90’s freewheel hubs shortly after they released their new Elite freewheels. I wouldn’t mind getting a chance to help those guys clean up, what else you could find there would make the mind boggle.

To those of you that weren’t around the race scene in the mid 90’s these might still look familiar, they are the (much older) bigger brother to the extremely popular mini hubs that are still available today. I’ve always wanted a set of these hubs, and have narrowly missed out on eBay auctions a number of times. I have the cassette hubs with this shell shape and they are still going strong more than 15 years later. I’m guessing an opportunity like this won’t come up again, not at least another 15 years, or until the next clean up.

Anyway, these hubs are available again, but as they say only while stocks last.
