UCI Supercross World Cup #3 Results

The dust has settled over the Sibirien BMX Arena in Ängelholm Sweden. With two more rounds of the 2015 Supercross series still to go, the battle for the lead is just heating up.

Liam Phillips has taken his second win of the season putting him in the top spot for the Elite Men’s class. Niek Kimmann had his eyes on the prize but was too careful through the second last straight and last corner in the final at round three, allowing Bodi Turner and Sam Willoughby to pass him. Willoughby slips back to second overall in the standings with Kimmann in third. Turner’s second place finish in the final propelled him into ninth place overall.

The Elite Women’s class also has a new leader. Alise Post’s first Supercross win this season in Sweden puts her at the top spot. Mariana Pajon could only manage a sixth place finish in the final but still holds down second in the series race. Felicia Stancil moves into third after finishing second at consecutive Supercross events. With Caroline Buchanan crashing out in her semi final in Sweden she drops to fifth place overall.
