Uni-Seat’s Founder Roger Berg has Passed Away.
BMX has lost another industry legend. I was saddend to learn that UNI Seat founder, innovator Roger Berg, passed away earlier this week. According to UNI BMX Products on Facebook “The estate is closed and there’s no plans for any further production. ” ending 48 years of UNI BMX.
UNI were best known in the 80’s for their super light weight seat and post combos, that are said to have sold over 1 million units in the 80’s, they have been widely copied and still being used today.
While successful in the BMX arena, Roger was also wildly successful with multi seat strollers/prams.
The UNI seat influence and legacy is set to live on in BMX for many more generations to come.
