Vans and Supercross – 2 BMX Icons Collab for more

VANS AND SUPERCROSS BMX ARE BACK FOR ROUND TWO.

The second Supercross x Vans drop lands June 19 — a checkerboard Slip-On and an Old Skool,
both built for real BMX riding, in Supercross colors you won’t find anywhere else.

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (June 19, 2026) — A few years back, Supercross BMX and Vans put out a 35th Anniversary collection that took off the way we hoped it would. People rode them, people collected them, and people kept asking when we’d do it again. So we did. This is Drop Two, and these are better than ever: the 2026 Vans x Supercross Slip-On BMX and the 2026 Vans x Supercross Old Skool BMX. Both land June 19 at supercrossbmx.com and Supercross BMX Dealers World Wide.

The Slip-On is the one I’m proud of. We started with the Vans BMX Classic Slip-On WaffleCup chassis and asked for the good stuff. It’s got the padded collar off the Vans Era, a suede toe and a suede heel cup, and a co-branded PopCush insole sitting on top of the Vans WaffleCup BMX sole. The checkerboard runs black and white with red, blue, and yellow accent checks straight out of the Supercross palette, and the heel wears a Supercross blue suede patch with an embroidered “S.” That’s not a shoe styled to look like BMX. That’s a real BMX shoe in the most classic silhouette Vans makes, one you can ride at the pump track, ride at the BMX track, or just slip on and cruise in.

The Old Skool BMX is built on Vans’ BMX Proof WaffleCup construction. Black canvas and suede up top, Supercross blue suede sidestripe panels, a red heel collar with yellow accents, and a gum WaffleCup outsolewith a blue midsole stripe. SickStick gum rubber handles the pedal grip, DuraCap underlays toughen up the spots that wear out first, and there’s medial crank protection plus reinforced heel and toe so it holds together through real sessions.

“Honestly, we’ve been putting riders in Vans since I was a kid. Everett Rosecrans at Vans believed in me before anybody else did, and back in the ’80s the Vans Pro Motion Freestyle Team ramp and truck were parked out front of my shop. So this was never about slapping a logo on a sneaker. For the Slip-On I told them what I wanted, the padded collar off the Era, a suede toe and heel, and the WaffleCup BMX sole under it, and that’s exactly what they built for us. It’s the most classic shoe
Vans makes, made to actually ride. Slip ’em on and go have fun. That’s the whole point.”
— Bill Ryan, founder of Supercross BMX

BUILT FOR BMX, NOT JUST STYLED LIKE IT
Both shoes run Vans’ WaffleCup BMX outsole, which puts cupsole support together with the pedal feel of a vulcanized sole. Both get DuraCap reinforced underlays and PopCush footbeds to take the impact. These are the same standards Vans builds into its BMX line, now carrying Supercross colors earned over 37 years of building race frames: 8x USA BMX Bike of the Year, 3x Team of the Year, and riders racing in more than 30 countries.
